Once we have worked with our Client to set achievable and profit based goals and developed the proper Operating model, we work with the Client Staff to implement, monitor and teach through each step in the process. Clients can adjust strategies and processes to maximize short and long term gains and to reduce risk.

 

Implementation Costs and Staff Requirements

Palmello Group works with the Client to manage any initial Implementation Costs and forecast any Staff Requirements for as long as we are needed. Our priority is to enable Clients to smoothly incorporate doing business in Asia with their existing staff.

 

Creating a Factory Network

Palmello Group sources Client Product and Materials by qualifying Factories based on Product manufacturing experience. Product quality must meet Client standard. Remember that everything is a special order in Asia. By properly matching a Client’s product with the right Factory will guarantee the Clients added profitability.

 

 

Negotiations

Our goal is to establish long term and successful relationships between our Clients and Asian Factories. Building these relationships by negotiating acceptable terms requires skillful, cross cultural negotiations. Palmello Group will lead and advise our Clients throughout the negotiating process. Our experience enables us to settle conflicts that can interfere with achieving agreement.

Developing effective Cross Cultural negotiating skills is critical for long-term success in Asia. US buyers are frequently finding themselves re-negotiating agreements by acting too quickly to new and immediate circumstances. We train our Clients in negotiating methods that builds effective, long-term relationships with Asia factories.

Meeting Asia’s Legal requirements

Asia’s, especially China’s legal and bureaucratic rules governing exports remain less than clear. China’s government is revising export regulations to meet WTO obligations. Our China office will resolve these issues. We also advise our Clients to discuss legal issues related to Asia imports with their US Attorney for additional professional advise.

Asia, in particular China, remains a place where personal relationships matter. Generally, networks of close personal relationships form an enduring business strategy. These relationships are known as “Guangxi”. Close relationships exist between private business and local Governments.
